Two more accused in Godhra carnage arrested

Two more persons have been arrested in connection with the attack on the Sabarmati Express at Godhra, Gujarat.

With this, the number of arrests in the case has reached 64, police said.

Irfan Pado and Kasim Biryani were held on Saturday from Signal Fadia area of Godhra town. On Sunday, they were produced before the railway judicial magistrate, who remanded them to police custody till April 6.

The others arrested in connection with the attack, which left 58 people dead, include local civic body president Mohammed Kalota and Haji Bilal.

Meanwhile, the police have intensified the search for another councillor, Farukh Bhana in connection with carnage, the police said.
