Pak refuses to hand over 20 terrorists to India

Pakistan has reiterated that it would not hand over 20 persons, whom India wants to stand trial for terrorist acts on Indian soil, unless concrete evidence is provided against them.

This was stated by foreign office spokesman Aziz Ahmad Khan on Friday night, when asked to comment on the American statement asking Pakistan to hand over the militants.

Khan said his country had informed the United States of its stand.

India had not provided any evidence against the 20, he said, adding that action would be taken against these persons as per Pakistani law, if evidence was produced.
