The Special Task Force has arrested four persons in Hapur on Friday night for allegedly harbouring terrorists belonging to the Lashker-e-Tayiba.
A K Mitra, additional director general of police, said that Shamim Hussain, Rafique, Kallan and Raeef had recently provided shelter to three LeT militants -- Ashraf, Imran and Mazhar.
While Shamim and Rafique hail from Ghaziabad, Raeef and Kallan belong to Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttaranchal, Mitra said.
They are likely to be prosecuted under Prevention of Terrorism Ordinance, he said, adding further investigations into the case are on.
