A Punjab Vigilance Bureau spokesman said in Chandigarh on Saturday that Pritpal Singh had been arrested in connection with the case registered earlier following the arrest of Sidhu.
Sufficient evidence had been collected against Pritpal Singh to warrant his arrest, he added.
Pritpal Singh, who was removed from his post after the scandal came to light, was posted as Public Grievances Officer at Hoshiarpur.
