The US Consul General in Kolkata, Christopher J Sandrolini, on Thursday said that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was not probing the January 22 attack on the American Center.
"There is no possibility of the FBI investigating the attack on the American Center. We have full dependence on the Indian government and the Government of West Bengal is investigating the case with due importance," he said.
To a question, he said: "We are not sure who were the targets of the attack... the police or the center."
