Two killed, four injured in bus explosion

Two passengers were killed and four injured in an explosion in a Punjab Roadways bus near Satnaur village in Hoshiarpur district on Thursday morning, police said.

The cause of the blast is not yet known. Forensic experts have been summoned to the spot.

Police said the bodies were charred beyond recognition.

The injured were identified as Rajinder Bhatia, Parminder Singh, Sukhvinder Singh and Manjeet Singh. They have been admitted to the civil hospital at Garhshankar.

The bus was on its way from Hoshiarpur to the state capital Chandigarh.
