Terrorist attack in Udhampur, 3 killed

Three persons, including two children, were killed and five were injured in a terrorist attack on the main bus stand at Reasi of Udhampur district, Jammu

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Udhampur) Shailendra Kumar told rediff.com that two terrorists lobbed a grenade at the bus stand at around 7:35 pm (IST) on Thursday.

"Due to the blast three persons, including two children, died on the spot, while five others were wounded," he said.

"We have shifted the injured to Udhampur for specialised treatment," he added.

Senior police officers have rushed to the spot.
