Security personnel killed in
Parliament attack to get awards

Three security personnel, including two from the watch and ward staff of the Rajya Sabha, who gave up their lives in the terrorist attack on Parliament are likely to be included in the Republic Day honours list.

The three -- Matbar Singh Negi, Jagdish Prasad Yadav and constable Kamlesh Kumari of the Central Reserve Police Force -- are likely to be awarded the Ashoka Chakra, the nation's highest peace time gallantry award.

Five other Delhi Police personnel, who were killed in the attack, are also likely to be decorated posthumously.
