Meanwhile, two boys died on the spot and five others sustained serious injuries when a bomb planted by unidentified persons exploded in Manma-Khandachakra in Kalikot district, the officials said.
The bomb, allegedly left behind by Maoist rebels, exploded near a public utility where the boys had gone to take bath, they said, adding that the five injured children were rushed to a hospital in Nepalgunj in an army helicopter.
The condition of two of the children was serious, they said.
The bomb was left near the public utility by the rebels while attempting to blow up the district headquarter few days ago, the officials said.
