Pakistan warns US citizens of more attacks

Following Wall Street Journal scribe Daniel Pearl's murder at the hands of Islamic fundamentalists, Pakistan on Saturday stepped up security at all American diplomatic missions and businesses.

All American missions and businesses should also review their own security arrangements, an interior ministry official warned.

"We cannot rule out attacks on US interests in Pakistan after what happened with Pearl. The way the kidnappers executed him show they have made up their mind that they do not care about their own future," he said.

"We have stepped up our own security and asked them (US citizens) to take extra precautions," he added.
