Woman raped while pursuing sister's rape case

In a twist of fate, a woman visiting Jaipur to pursue the case of the rape and murder of her sister was allegedly raped by the manager of the hotel where she was staying, police said on Friday.

The hotel manager and his friend have been arrested.

The victim had come to Jaipur with her parents and brother-in-law from Dausa district to meet police officers regarding the rape and murder of her sister in Neethari village in 2001.

While her parents left for the village, the woman and her brother-in-law checked into a hotel.

According to a report lodged with the police, the hotel manager and his friend gained entry into the room at night posing as CID officials. They then pushed the brother-in-law out of the room and raped the woman.
