Kailash Joshi appointed BJP Madhya Pradesh chief

Former chief minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kailash Joshi was on Tuesday appointed president of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the party.

He will take over from Vikram Verma, who joined the Union Cabinet on Monday.

Making the announcement, BJP president Venkaiah Naidu said Verma's resignation from the post has been accepted and he has been asked to continue till Joshi takes over later this week.
