Lalji Tandon elected leader of BJP legislature group

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Minister Lalji Tandon was on Thursday unanimously elected leader of the party's legislature group.

The post of the BJP legislature party leader had fallen vacant after Rajnath Singh resigned to take up his new assignment as a national general secretary of the party.
