Four terrorists killed in Kashmir

Four terrorists, including three mercenaries of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, were killed in Kashmir valley since Sunday night, official sources said on Monday.

The JeM terrorists -- identified as Ghulam Mustaffa, Abu Turab alias Sherbaz and Abu Talib -- were killed in an encounter at Dardpora in Kupwara district.

Three Kalashnikov rifles, ten magazines, six grenades and over 1000 rounds of ammunition were recovered from them, they said.

The sources said security forces shot dead an unidentified terrorist in another encounter, which took place at Shalinar near Khansahib in Badgam district on Sunday night.

A Kalashnikov rifle and some ammunition were recovered from him.

Meanwhile, police fished out the body of an unidentified person from Jhelum river near Malroo on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday.
