One person was killed and two others were injured when an explosion took place in an ordnance factory near Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a source in the defence ministry, the explosion took place in the premises of the ordnance factory at Kamaria, where anti-tank mines and small arms are manufactured, among other things.
There was a similar blast three months ago in the same factory. The army has ordered an inquiry into the latest incident.
