Four MCC activists, 1 cop killed in Bihar

At least four activists of the Maoist Communist Centre and one constable were killed in a gun battle in Aurangabad district of Bihar, police said on Thursday.

According to police sources, the skirmish took place in Vishrampur Sariya village of Tandwa police station on Wednesday evening.

The sources said that a Central Reserve Police Force constable, Puran Singh, was also injured in the gun battle and admitted to a government hospital in Gaya district.

Some arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain activists, they said.
