Laloo expels yet another Rajya Sabha MP

Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav on Tuesday expelled yet another Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Prasad Singh from his party for anti-party activities.

Party's national spokesman Shivanand Tiwari said Singh had been expelled from the party for six years.

Singh is believed to be a close confidant of expelled RJD Rajya Sabha member Ranjan Prasad Yadav who is spearheading the dissidents' campaign for the ouster of Chief Minister Rabri Devi.

The RJD chief had on April 28 expelled Ranjan and Bhante Dhamma Viriyo from the party for six years for indulging in anti-party activities.
