Seven members of a family were shot dead at Kaithal village in Bihar's Nalanda district.
The family of Rajo Mahato was killed late on Thursday following a land dispute, Director General of Police R R Prasad said on Friday.
The victims included two women and a child.
The district borders have been sealed and intensive combing is on to nab the killers, he added.
