Gopinath Munde hurt in road mishap

Bharatiya Janata Party national vice-president Gopinath Munde Tuesday suffered minor injuries, when his vehicle collided with another vehicle on the Nanded-Bombay highway near Brahmawadi village in Parli Vaijnath.

Munde was on his way to the Vaidyanath co-operative sugar factory.

His driver applied brakes suddenly to save a stray dog, when the vehicle collided with another one carrying security personnel.

Munde and his elder brother Pandit Anna sustained minor injuries.

Three security officers also sustained injuries.

All the injured were taken to a private nursing home and were discharged after first-aid.
