Church, Muslims must Indianise: RSS

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief K C Sudarshan Wednesday asked Christians and Muslims in the country to "realise their roots and Indianise themselves."

Addressing a rally of RSS workers from Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Madikeri and Kasargod districts, Sudarshan said Christians should form a national church and cut off all their links with the Vatican.

"There is a need for Indianisation of Churches and Muslims as foreign culture does not suit the Indian environment," he said.

He said nationality based on strong concepts of culture, people and land would definitely help in better understanding of each other, leading to communal harmony and co-existence.
