BMAC (I) ready for talks to
resolve Ayodhya tangle

Babri Masjid Action Committee (International) on Wednesday said it was prepared for talks with the parties concerned for a just solution of Ayodhya issue if it led to protection of religious rights of both the communities.

The Committee, which met in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Javed Habeed, decided to write to the prime minister, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief, leaders of national and state-level political parties, the president of All India Muslim Personal Law Conference and some Muslim leaders in this regard.

The Committee said it agreed with the view of Bharatiya Janata Party president Bangaru Laxman and some Muslim leaders that apart from court verdict, efforts should be made to settle the dispute through negotiations.
