Vajpayee to visit Japan in Feb

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will pay an official visit to Japan from February 10 to 14 to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Vajpayee will meet Emperor Arihito and hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori.

The Emperor will host a court luncheon while the prime minister will host a dinner in honour of Vajpayee, a press release issued by the Japan Embassy in New Delhi said Tuesday.

Vajpayee was invited to visit Japan during Mori's India visit last August.
