5 Indians killed in mishap
near Abu Dhabi

Five Indians were killed when their vehicle was hit by a heavy truck at Ruwais, near Abu Dhabi on Thursday, newspaper reports said in Dubai on Friday.

The accident occurred early in the morning due to heavy fog.

Among the dead was a Keralite engineer, identified as Adarsh, while the other four victims reportedly belonged to Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, in a major accident on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway, at least five people were killed and more than 25 injured when a coach carrying pilgrims for umrah in Saudi Arabia lost control and crashed. Four of the victims were UAE nationals and one was a Saudi Arabian.
