ED raids Shah's office, house

A correspondent in Bombay

Film financier and diamond merchant Bharat Shah's residence at Napean Sea Road and office at Charni Road at Mehta Bhavan were raided in Bombay on Saturday.

Slueths of the Enforcement Department were at the premises in the afternoon.

Around 12 officers and 15 policemen searched for documents pertaining to Shah's export deals at his office.

Bharat Shah's brother Vijay was not allowed to visit his lawyer to discuss the arrest during the raid.
