Seven killed, 30 injured in Delhi bus accident

Seven passengers were killed and 30 injured when a private chartered bus skidded off a flyover in East Delhi Saturday, police said.

Two of the injured people admitted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital were in serious condition, police said.

The bus skidded off the flyover near Shyam Lal college at Shahadra, police said, adding that all the seven persons succumbed to their injuries before reaching the hospital.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit directed Health Minister A K Walia to supervise the medical aid and relief.
