Acting on a tip off, police arrested Kishan Bahadur and Suraj Bahadur from the Old Delhi railway station late on Tuesday night when they were preparing to leave the capital on their way to Nepal, the sources said.
Fifty kgs of poly-propylene powder (explosives), 389 detonators, 46 fuse fires and 28 gelatine sticks were recovered from them.
The duo admitted that they belonged to a pro-Maoist faction and were to supply the consignment to one Karan Bahadur, a Maoist leader.
Emergency was clamped down in Nepal following large-scale killings by Maoist rebels in various parts of the country.
