A thick fog enveloped the national capital region on Wednesday morning throwing normal life, including air traffic, out of gear.
Heavy fog, the season's first, led to the delay or cancellation of over a dozen flights, Indira Gandhi International airport sources said. They, however, added that normalcy was likely to restored soon.
All trains coming in and leaving the city were also delayed.
The Met office has forecast foggy mornings in Delhi for another couple of days.
