Four new faces were inducted into the Delhi cabinet on Thursday.

Lt Governor Vijai Kapoor administered the oath of office and secrecy to Ajay Maken, Deep Chand Bandhu, Haroon Yusuf and Raj Kumar Chauhan - at a brief ceremony at the Raj Niwas.

Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has retained Health Minister A K Walia and Finance Minister Mahinder Singh Saathi while Yoganand Shastri, Pervez Hashmi, Narender Nath and Krishna Tirth have been dropped.

The ceremony was attended by Dikshit, her cabinet colleagues, senior police and civil officials and a large number of Congress party leaders.

All the axed ministers made their displeasure obvious by boycotting the swearing-in ceremony.
