Chhota Rajan shifted from hospital: PTIJaishree Balasubramanian in Bangkok Gangster Chhotta Rajan, who was admitted to hospital following an attack recently, has been moved out, after a stranger tried to visit him, The Bangkok Post newspaper said on Friday. Rajan and the wife of an Indian jeweller, killed in the attack last Friday, were moved at the request of a relative, Rajesh Madan Sharma, who asked the police to step up security after "an unknown Indian tried to visit them", the daily added. The two, who suffered serious injuries, will be under 24-hour surveillance since four other suspects involved in the shooting are at large, the newspaper quoted a senior police official as having said. The daily also quoted sources as saying that the police were gathering the names of a Thailand-based Pakistani gang believed to be in contact with men of Dubai-based gangster Dawood Ibrahim. "The Pakistanis are said to be operating from a mosque in Don Chedi district of Suphan Buri in Thailand," The Post said. The police have arrested four persons in connection with the shooting incident -- three Pakistanis and a Thai. The absconding four are also believed to be Pakistanis. Ten armed men entered the apartment of an Indian jeweller, Rohit D'souza alias Michael, last Friday and opened fire, killing him on the spot and seriously injuring his wife and another person believed to be Rajan. Rajan reportedly entered Thailand under an assumed name as immigration records identify him as Vijay Daman.
