RDX, bombs seized in Kutch district

Police recovered 25 kilograms of RDX, bombs, detonators, remote control, pencil timer and a number of wireless sets from Kamaguna village of Bhuj taluka in Kutch district of Gujarat late on Wednesday night, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police officers raided the area and seized the firearms and the other items from some persons.

Police suspect that the RDX and other ammunition were smuggled into the country with the intention of causing sabotage.
