Laloo gets bail after spending a day in jail

Our correspondent in Patna

Former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief, Laloo Prasad Yadav, was given bail by the Patna high court in a disproportionate assets case on Wednesday.

The bail application was heard by Judge S K Singh.

The designated Central Bureau of Investigation court on Tuesday had remanded Laloo to judicial custody following the expiry of his bail in the disproportionate assets case.
