Five hacked to death in Bihar

At least five people were hacked to death by some unidentified criminals in Nalanda district of Bihar on Thursday night.

Police said in Patna on Friday that the criminals armed with lethal weapons attacked the residents of Birsa village and hacked five people to death.

Sources said that the deceased were all Dalits and supporters of the Communist Party of India-Marxist-Leninists (CPI-ML).

Meanwhile, CPI (ML) state office in-charge Prabhat Kumar has condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
