Qayyum says probe against Mushtaq is on: Reuters

E-Mail this report to a friend

Justice Malik Mohammad Qayyum has said that all his recommendations were implemented but added that an investigation against Mushtaq Ahmed was continuing.

"I can only say that all my recommendations have been implemented. I neither have to be happy nor satisfied because it was up to the concerned authorities how they choose to handle the report," Justice Malik Mohammad Qayyum said.

But Qayyum said an investigation against Mushtaq had not been completed because one witness had not been found. "We are trying to locate one Butt... Butt, according to my information, is in Kuwait and until I examine him I can't decide whether the allegations against Mushtaq are true or false," the judge said.
