E-Mail this report to a friend

Ten members of a marriage party were electrocuted while 50 were injured when a bus came in contact with an overhead high-voltage electric cable at Tulha village in Bihar's Forbesganj district yesterday, officials said.

District magistrate Araria, Shamji Sahay said the injured were admitted to hospitals, where the condition of 12 was stated to be critical.

The mishap occurred when nearly 70-75 members of the marriage party in the bus were returning to Sitaganj in Nepal's Sunsari district from Dhalha village, Sahay said.
