No proof that can nail Indians: Cronje's lawyer

E-Mail this report to a friend

Former South African cricket captain Hansie Cronje's lawyer has said that Cronje has no evidence that can implicate any Indian cricketer, including former skipper Mohammad Azharuddin, directly in match-fixing.

In an interview to Star News in Cape Town, John Dickinson said: "Cronje has given no evidence to the King Commission to indicate or implicate any Indian player, including Azharuddin, in match-fixing. He also indicated that he has no knowledge of match-fixing. In short, as you put it, no Indian player is involved in match-fixing."
