Bihar minister has miraculous escape

Bihar's Legislative Affairs Minister Ramchandra Purve had a miraculous escape after his car collided with a truck on the Patna by-pass on Friday afternoon. Four others accompanying him - his driver, two security guards and an aide - died in the mishap.

Purve was rushed to the intensive care unit of the Patna Medical College Hospital. Doctors attending on him said that the injuries are not serious in nature. He is out of danger, but under observation.

Only last May Purve had survived a car crash while on his way back from Bhojpur district.
