Six crash survivors brought to Delhi

Six survivors of yesterday's plane crash and a woman who was injured when the plane hit a row of houses near the Patna airport were brought to New Delhi today for treatment.

Pramod Rajgharia, a UK-based surgeon, and his two children - Ketan and Prachi - were brought here by a special rescue plane and were driven straight to Apollo hospital from the airport.

Dutt, who has suffered multiple injuries, was later moved to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Three more survivors - P N Bopanna, Rohit Ranjan and Rajiv Singh Rana - were brought to Delhi late on Monday night.

While Ranjan has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of AIIMS, Rana and Bopanna are in Apollo hospital.

Bodies of two passengers - Gunjan from Nagpur and Jayakumar from Chennai - were also brought to Delhi today by a rescue plane.

The bodies were likely to be sent to Nagpur and Chennai later in the day.
