RSS conclave begins in Gandhinagar

The two-day meeting of the all-India executive committee of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh started at the Preksha Vishwa Bharati in Gandhinagar today. It is being attended by 240 delegates from the RSS and its allied organisations.

The dignitaries present included sarsanghchalak K S Sudarshan, RSS general secretary Mohan Bhagwat, joint general secretaries H V Sheshadri and Madandas Devi, working president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Ashok Singhal, general secretary Dr Pravin Togadia, senior leader of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Dattopant Thengdi, Bharatiya Janata Party president Kushabhau Thakre, general secretary Govindacharya, Swadeshi Jagran Manch general secretary Murlidhar Rao and former president of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Bal Apte.

Jain muni Lokprakashji Lokesh was present for some time.

Zona1 and national leaders of the RSS and representatives of allied organisations are attending the conclave. The conclave has always been held in Nagpur, the RSS headquarters, barring 1989, when it was held in Rajkot.
