Paswan hopeful of NDA ruling Bihar

E-Mail this report to a friend

Janata Dal-United leader and Telecommunication Minister Ram Vilas Paswan is still hopeful that the National Democratic Alliance would form the government in Bihar.

Running neck and neck with the ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal, the NDA would need the support of a substantial number of independents and others to form the government.

Talking to newsmen in Patna on Saturday, Paswan said the ball was now in the court of the governor.

He, however, added that it was not binding upon the governor to invite the single largest party - in this case, the RJD - to form the government.
