Mehboob Studio reduced
to ashes in Bombay: PTI

One of Bombay's oldest film studios, Mehboob Studio, was reduced to ashes following a massive blaze early Wednesday morning.

No one was injured, fire brigade sources said.

The studio was gutted after some wood paneling and a set constructed by director Ramesh Sippy for the Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai starrer Kuch Na Kaho, caught fire, the sources said.

Thirteen fire engines and six jumbo tankers doused the fire, which broke out at around 0200 hours IST, almost three hours later.
