Ten Meningitis deaths in Bihar

Ten people, including three of a family, died of Meningitis in one day in Bihar's Nawada district on Sunday, official sources said.

Sadar hospital sources on Monday said that the victims included the wife, son and daughter of Sukhdeo Singh of Chitarkoli village under Rajauli block in the district.

Other victims were: Itar Prasad Yadav, Rubi Kumari, Sudarshan Paswan, Bhagirath Paswan, Junul Nisha, Anil Kumar and Rinku Devi.

Rajauli was the worst-affected block in Nawada district, sources added.
