Five bodies recovered from Kokrajhar

Five bullet-ridden bodies were recovered on Wednesday from Assam's trouble-torn Kokrajhar district, official sources said in Guwahati.

Police recovered two bodies from Lalkhora area after acting on information received from a group of Village Defence Personnel.

After further combing operations were carried out in the area, three more bodies were found between Garokhatra and Deodaba.

The identity of the slain people and the killers were yet to be established. The police have launched a massive combing operation to nab the culprits, the sources added.
