An Indian airhostess, Inderpreet Kaur, was among 143 passengers and crew killed when a Gulf Air Airbus A320 crashed into the sea off Bahrain on Wednesday.

Inderpreet was a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were flown to Bahrain on Thursday morning.

A report from Dubai said that Kaur, who was in her 20s, had joined Gulf Air as an air-hostess two years back.

The eight-member crew consisted of three women - an Indian, a Moroccan and an Egyptian - besides two Bahrainis, an Omani, a Filipino and a Dutchman, CNN reported on Thursday.

Bodies of all 143 people - 135 passengers and eight crew - on board the plane have been recovered as search operations continued through the night, news reports said.
