Former Tamil Nadu minister acquitted: PTI

Former Tamil Nadu minister V Sathyamoorthy was acquitted in the disproportionate wealth case by a special court in Madras.

Special judge V Radhakrishnan also found six others co-accused in the case not guilty, holding that the CBCID had not proved its case against them beyond all reasonable doubt.

The co-accused in the case include the minister's wife Chandra, his father-in-law, mother-in-law and three others.
