RSS must apologise for not celebrating I-Day: RJD

E-Mail this report to a friend

The Rashtriya Janata Dal on Thursday asked the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to publicly apologise for not celebrating Independence Day at its headquarters in Nagpur.

Condemning the RSS' decision not to unfurl the national flag, RJD spokesman and Bihar Excise Minister Shivanand Tiwari told newspersons in Patna that this disregard for I-Day had exposed its true colours.

He said that all people who had respect for the country would disapprove of the RSS' behaviour. Its chief should apologise for the blunder, he demanded.
