29 militant training camps in PoK: PTI

E-Mail this report to a friend

There are 29 militant training camps being run in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, which is, yet again, evidence of Pakistan's state sponsorship of cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere in India, the Rajya Sabha was informed Thursday.

In a written reply, Minister of state for External Affairs Ajit Kumar Panja said India has, appropriately and effectively, brought this to the notice of the international community, while it remains steadfast in its resolve to defeat Pakistan's state sponsorship of cross-border terrorism.

Panja said there was no question of India acting under pressure to release Hurriyat leaders from any quarter as its position was well known that there is no room for third-party negotiation in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said there is no US mediation to bring India, Pakistan and Kashmiri groups to the negotiating table.
