We are ready to meet ISI challenge, says Punjab DGP

Punjab Director General of Police Sarabjit Singh said yesterday that his department was all geared up to foil the ''nefarious designs'' of Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence, particularly its current recruitment, fund raising and training programmes.

Talking to newspersons at Faridkot, the DGP said the police would soon launch a special drive against anti-social elements, opium and poppy husk smugglers who had become active in the recent past in the state.
