The Punjab police has nabbed an extremist of the Khalistan Commando Force.

The extremist, Satnam Singh alias Satta, apprehended from Bhumbli village in Gurdaspur district, was a close associate of two self-styled KCF lt. generals, Jasbir Singh and Bachhiter Singh, Punjab DGP Sarabjit Singh said at Chandigarh today.

Satnam Singh indulged in illegal activities such as extorting money from people by writing them letters on the KCF pad, the DGP said.

Following a tip-off, a police party of Gurdaspur district raided Satnam Singh's house in Bhumbli village and arrested him, he said.

On preliminary interrogation, Satnam Singh confessed that he got the KCF letter pad from Jasbir Singh and Bachhitar Singh.
