More rains in the Andamans

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Marathwada, Vidarbha and coastal, Karnataka, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, central Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh, at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, the plains of Uttar Pradesh, south Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside west Rajasthan and Saurashtra and Kutch, where the weather will be mainly dry.
