E-Mail this report to a friend

The indigenously developed anti-tank missile Nag was successfully test fired from the Interim Test Range at Chandipur-on-sea, about 15 kilometres from Balesore in Orissa today.

This was the second test firing of Nag from the ITR during the last three days. On Saturday too the anti-tank missile was test fired.

Official sources said the missile, having a range of four to six kilometres, was test fired at 1330 hours in presence of senior officials of the Defence Research Development Organisation.

Nag is one of the five missiles developed by the DRDO under the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme.
